This is just a quick post to give you all a sneak peek at the next major update to Weave expected to be ready for wider testing shortly after the release of Firefox 3. In addition to significant work on the performance, encryption and data synchronization capabilities we’re adding a number of new features, such as:

Development is moving along at a fast and furious pace and so everything is subject to change.
Update #1: We expect this major update to Weave to be available for wider testing and feedback by Friday, June 20th.
Update #2: The update is taking a bit longer than anticipated. Development builds are being pushed now for testing and we expect now to release 0.2 by Monday, June 30th. Stay tuned for more information.

Is the Weave project dead? It sure looks like the lights are on, but nobody’s home.
It’s been months since I registered for notification about increased server capacity and taking on new accounts. Haven’t heard a thing. All the recent discussion here, apart from the generous servings of spam, is inquiries from others in the same boat since Google pulled the plug on Browser Sync.
If Weave is still an active project, would it be too much to ask that someone update the roadmap or send a status update to the email list?
I agree with older bud. They can add all the features they want but if we can’t use it because of server issues who cares? This could be a great offering-can’t someone write a coupla sentences once a month and tell us what is happening?

I cannot sign in to Weave any longer. Nor do I have the email I used to register. Can you help me? My user name is either belsj or op.ut.belsj; neither is accepted in combination with my password.
You can reach me on the address above.
Thanks.
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Weave. And while it may have been asked already, I am wondering if this principle is being applied to Thunderbird as well?
