Installing SDKs, installing python, compiling, command line tools... Wow that looks extremely difficult to make one of these new JetPacks compared to good old extensions. Wasn't it supposed to make it easier? Using my favorite text editor and pressing refresh in the browser (or restarting it in the case of extensions) has worked for so long. Why make it so much more complicated?

Your link to "CommonJS" is broken. Should it be http://wiki.commonjs.org/wiki/CommonJS ?

I'm really excited that Jetpack will be able to leverage Narwhal's package ecosystem. We're trying to cut the Narwhal standard library into a separate package so it could be installed without the bootstrapping and engine parts. We're also going to migrate our toolchain onto exact CommonJS packages compliance soon. Thanks for the vote of confidence in Narhwal's architecture, and I look forward to my next opportunity to build a Jetpack.

A question on the security updates for APIs, wouldn't that bring us back into the scenario where we cannot test if a security fix broke the add-on?
