about:support, modeled after the Firefox about:support page, contains email account and diagnostic information (e.g. IMAP, POP, and SMTP settings) to help you when you’re getting support for Thunderbird.

To use the about:support add-on click, go to the ‘Help’ menu and select the following: Help -> Troubleshooting Information

Your Privacy

The about:support add-on can copy your technical troubleshooting information into a support page or email the information. We’ve tried hard to protect your privacy by giving an option which allows you to include possibly identifying information that might aide in the troubleshooting process.

Installation

All of our add-ons are listed in the official addons.mozilla.org site.

To install any of these add-ons in Thunderbird, follow these steps.
(In Thunderbird)

  1. 1. Open the Tools menu
  2. 2. Select Add-ons
    to open the add-ons dialog
  3. 3. Click on the Get Add-ons
    tab to open search page
  4. 4. Click in the Search
    All Add-ons text box
  5. 5. Search for the add-on
    name click on Install in the results
