		<description>Looks like they are re-doing the back end to use a different database etc, in order to make it perform well in larger-scale hosted implementations.  That is probably why there&#039;s no more recent news?

I think you should look at google wave and copy what they have done good. Google products are just userfriendly and good looking. (Google Earth, Picasa, etc.).
The &quot;wave&quot; structure, that you open a discussion with different persons, is just great. Its like e-mail (and how doesn&#039;t love e-mail), but better. The best part is the collaborative working and instant character transmission. 
Please develop a program with the same cool abilities, but not proprietary, like google always does...</description>
