Introducing the Bespin Bookmarklet

The new Bespin Bookmarklet lets you use the Bespin editor to edit code or other text on any page with a textarea.

“Coding in the cloud” is not a new concept. There are lots of sites that allow people to edit code and other plain text formats directly in their browsers. Unfortunately, a great many of these sites use simple <textarea> elements to do the editing. If you’re like me, the first time you hit the tab key to indent some code and then end up on another field altogether is the point at which you really wish you had a better editor at that moment.

There are a handful of solutions to that problem, and today we’re giving you another: the Bespin Bookmarklet. It’s trivial to install, always up to date and easy to use.

Check out the video below for an example of the bookmarklet in use, or just follow the instructions on the Bespin Bookmarklet page.
