About Prospector: AwesomeBar HD

AwesomeBar HD combines the location bar and the search bar, so from one input, you can find pages from your history, on the web, for a particular category.

This add-on provides categories in the location bar to help you find exactly what you want. Instead of having to first do a generic web search and looking through the results, I can jump straight to tweets about a given person. If I now wanted to check up on a person's work background, I can easily switch within the “people” category to LinkedIn.

Prospector is a collection of experiments from Mozilla Labs focused on analyzing, experimenting and prototyping enhancements for how you search and discover content with Firefox. We’re focused on three main areas: websites you've visited, tabs you're currently viewing, and pages you haven’t visited yet.
